Kate Maloney Albiani
Principal & Lead Designer
After completing her business degree from Bentley College and working in the advertising world for a few years, Kate Maloney Albiani quickly redirected her focus to the interior design field. As a self-taught designer Kate credits architect Charles R. Myer with mentoring her to follow her dream of opening her own studio. The design world may be tough to navigate but Kate likes to think that keeping your eyes and ears open and always doing the right thing can lead you down a path where passion and dedication can evolve into a career. Kate believes that good design is an organic process between the designer and the clients who know what they love. When designing a home, her decisions are guided by a belief that each home should be unique to the people that live there. Many families choose to work with Kate not only for her youthful spin on their traditional homes, but her commitment to work with her clients on devising an appropriate budget that with incorporate their expectations for the project. Kate has mastered the art of combining antique and modern pieces with wonderfully unexpected details. Her goal is to design rooms that are just as beautiful to look at, as they are comfortable to live in. After practicing interior design in New England for over a decade, Kate is known for her textural interiors and her ability to handily balance form with function.
