MODERN Meadow RESIDENCE

Airy, tranquil, and flooded with natural light, this Wayland, MA, home provides a calming home base for an active family's needs. This young family of six with high school-aged kids needed their home to function around their busy lives and favorite activities.

We aimed to create spaces that feel unique yet connected in the emotions and serenity they evoke, embracing the meadow this home sits on while accounting for the daily revolving door of family and friends.

To counterbalance the hustle and bustle of life, a relaxing palette of soft, texturally comfortable furnishings was vital to the interior design. Plush sofas and chairs invite you to sit and stay for a while.

We also created five unique bedroom suites as a retreat for each family member. The kids will have plenty of room to bring their future families, and there will always be ample space to gather and make memories in the open-concept kitchen and living spaces.

The clients have a second home in Vermont (which we also designed!) and love its naturally comforting elements. Similarly, we created this sunroom to bring the outdoors in with wood, stone, and wicker elements.

Whether work, play, or relaxation, there is a space for everyone to enjoy both solo and family time in this home.
