TUDOR style PAPER TRAIL
Project Summary
To enter this Winchester Tudor-style home is to enter one family’s world of color and whimsy. One glance at the wallcoverings throughout, and you’ll understand the inspiration behind the project name!
This family of five is always on the go between travel, kids' sports, and hosting many family and friends. They wanted to inject color, pattern, and life into their traditional 1920s home without overdoing it.
Our approach? Let the structure and architecture drive the interior design and decor while infusing the home with the family’s style!
Wallpapers communicate design intent in each space. We helped the client curate a collection of prints, rolling one scheme into the next to create a cohesive look and feel.
Opening up spaces like the kitchen, mudroom, and bedrooms improved functionality. We incorporated rich jewel tones, patterns, and playful details while maintaining original wood paneling and stained-glass windows.
Sleek furniture, vibrant textiles, and chic tilework keep you guessing. There are numerous show-stopping moments, like the primary bedroom’s floral-papered ceiling and the youngest son’s theater stage-inspired bed.
There is no shortage of imagination in this timeless Tudor, which the family can continue making their own for years to come.
